چکیده

The paper proposes a comprehensive framework for representing and using nonfunctional requirements during the development process. The framework consists of five basic components which provide for the representation of nonfunctional requirements in terms of interrelated goals. Such goals can be refined through refinement methods and can be evaluated in order to determine the degree to which a set of nonfunctional requirements is supported by a particular design. Evidence for the power of the framework is provided through the study of accuracy and performance requirements for information systems.

Application of triangulation approach in requirements engineering process: A study in analysis and design of the pediatrics epilepsy information system

Introduction: Requirements Engineering process is a crucial phase in software development. In order to achieve a successful design of health information systems (HISs), applying the best methodologies is essential. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to design pediatrics Epilepsy Information System (EPIS) as well as the use of triangulation approach in elicitation and validation of epil...

Designing Web-Based Systems in Social Context: A Goal and Scenario Based Approach

In order to design a better web-based system, a designer would like to have notations to visualize how design experts’ knowhow can be applied according to one's specific social and technology situation. We propose the combined use of a goal-oriented language GRL and a scenarios-oriented notation UCM for representing design knowledge of web-based systems and information systems in general. Goals...

Development of a framework to evaluate service-oriented architecture governance using COBIT approach

Nowadays organizations require an effective governance framework for their service-oriented architecture (SOA) in order to enable them to use a framework to evaluate their current state governance and determine the governance requirements, and then to offer a suitable model for their governance. Various frameworks have been developed to evaluate the SOA governance. In this paper, a brief introd...

Feature-Oriented Nonfunctional Requirements Analysis for Software Product Line

Domain analysis in software product line (SPL) development provides a basis for core assets design and implementation by a systematic and comprehensive commonality/variability analysis. In feature-oriented SPL methods, products of domain analysis are domain feature model and corresponding feature decision model to facilitate application-oriented customization. As in requirement analysis for a s...

Aspect-Oriented Extension for Capturing Requirements in Use-Case Model

Early Aspects is a concept that applies an aspect-oriented (AO) paradigm to the requirements engineering. Aspect-Oriented Requirements Engineering (AORE) can be considered as an important role in the early phase of aspect-oriented software development (AOSD). Crosscutting concerns provide modularized concept for tangled representation of the software. There are several works in the AOSD area th...
